Crashdummy, you need a sign for your front door that says:

"The Only Nuts I Deal with Are in My Cakes"

Good for you for turning them down, even if the bride was nice, you know Nut would be involved. It wouldn't be worth the headache.

This lady is crazy. You are definitely right in wanting to put as much distance between you and this situation as you can.

I can only imagine what would happen if you decided to make the cake once the bride asked you directly. The crazy lady shows up on your doorstep, says she is there to pick up the cake and takes off with it, and the cake never makes it to the reception. And that would be a best case scenario.

From the time I heard her say this I would have wanted no part in it. It seems to me like she's not serious about this entire thing. Confirmation is her telling you your cakes taste nasty.

I think it's obvious she's beyond nutty. She's one to put in your, "IGNORE AND STAY AWAY FROM" file. She's trouble.

Good luck!

Just reading your experience elevated my blood pressure. Can you seriously even imagine someone else picking out your wedding cake? I don't think so. That story sounds way to fishy to me. I think you should just remove her from your customer list permanetly.

I assumed the bride had already had her cake ordered from someone else and this NUT JOB was trying to make trouble by ordering another and having TWO of them delivered and the bride having to pay for BOTH of them.........At lease THAT didn't happen....... RUN!! RUN LIKE THE WIND !! We don't need THIS kind of business.......

I think we should make it the quote of the month, lol!

That really was a good one! I hope you don't have any more nuts come to your door.
