I have to ask what you charge for something like this? What is a cake like this worth even if you didn't charge it's full value? How much did it cost you to create? It's absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to create a masterpiece like this one, but my gut tells me it's a long time coming!

Wow...I got an email saying that this topic was active....I had no idea which cake it was for (this thread is a few months old)

This cake seems to be the number one favorite of almost everyone...and I thought whimsical cakes were on there way out....

To answer lrstone98...yes, all the decorations are fondant.

oh, i work close to brooklyn and willing to travel for a class! icon_biggrin.gif I used to live in brooklyn, moved 2 yrs ago to NJ. I was looking at this post yesterday (again) and was thinking maybe a simple version of this cake for my daughters second birthday would be nice. i'm still pretty new to decorating, so i'm not sure how i will pull it off.
