I am new to CC, and I am feeling incredibly impatient!! lol I see a new cake on here every second minute of the day and think, "ohhhhh I really really want to try that!"

Of course it is unrealistic to think that I could possible make EVERY single cake out there, but is anyone else obsessed?

I swear all I do is think about cake and cookies... and new things I could try.

HELLLLP!

icon_surprised.gif OMG! I feel like that all the time and I end up making cupcakes. All the designs seem simple but then you have to make the frosting and oh it can become overwhelming. Enjoy the site and welcome!

If I had more money, all I would do was experiment and try new cakes. I am officially addicted to the site since I joined, and I honestly dream about cake! The other night I was dreaming of new designs, and then the following night nightmares about a collapsing cake. Perhaps I need some CC therapy! hahaha You are not alone!!! icon_razz.gif

I can totally relate as I popped out of bed at midnight to come check the site. It is also probably a sad commentary that I got excited when I hit 100 posts yesterday and became a "Regular Member"!

You are definately not the only one. I have about a thousand cakes I want to try. I gues we have to take it one cake at a time.

I fully understand what you are saying. Everyday I find one cake that I will do and print it out. But before I can get to it I find another one and another one. Then I end up not doing them at all because I found a new one to do. icon_lol.gif

icon_smile.gif You said it. I'm so hooked too. I haven't been doing cakes for awhile but when i signed up it rekindled my passion. Every time there's a birthday i want to give a cake as a gift. This site sure is "highly addictive".

Welcome to CC, see how you are not alone? Apart from all the delightful cakes on CC, my DH has just surprised me with all but one of Debbie Browns books and now I have a trillion cakes going round in my head. Another problem is actually getting off CC to go do a cake at all icon_lol.gif

Me too! I spend every free minute on here. It's a total obsession. I only wish I did not need sleep and then I could fit the baking in too! Everytime I log on it's like opening up a big bday present! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

Today I have an excuse to make one though... having people over! lol...

I'll find any excuse to make a cake!

I can relate to all of you. I can't breathe when I get on here. I am addicted. I work full-time and just do cakes for family and hospice. I don't charge but love to experiment in my "SPARE TIME".

Oh......I am the same way! Too bad everyone around is pretty much tired of cake! LOL! Not so much tired of cake but tired of all the weight that we have gained since I started this hobby! You know, I could always pass up cake at a party or whatever until I started baking my own....now that is all I crave! Anyway, I still can't wait to try all of these cakes I love! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm equally obsessed (though I don't post because I'm mostly just reading and learning)! The good news is nobody complains... they get cookies and cake!
