Mmf...do You Really Need To Let This Rest Overnight?

I've also used it shortly after making it. Not sure but i felt like it was better to work with. Plus i've noticed (at least with me) that after it rests over night, no matter how well I wrap it up, it gets a little dry and requires alot of kneading to get it soft again.
I think it's a lot easier to work with if you use it right away. ![]()
Well I'll be the fly in the ointment here
, I have used mine right away, but I prefer to let it rest overnight because it tightens up and "sets" as it were. A little kneading the next day and we're good to go. I like end result much better when it rests. I guess it's just a personal preference! ![]()

Yes, I think I am crazy for doing a cake that is due Tuesday, although I may be stretching it until Wednesday!

Wow, I am due in 4 1/2 weeks and debating to take on 3 cakes up to a week before and 3 in Mid June. I though I was the only crazy one thinking this way. ![]()

Don't be sorry - asking questions is how we all learn. I asked the same one just a couple of weeks ago!
It's MarshMallow Fondant, homemade. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to since so many people on this site use it all the time...it must be good.
Good luck!
I use mine as soon as its done I find it easier to work with.
