I have 3 beautiful girls....and my girls baked me a cake (which I have no picture of presently) and they gave me a SURPRISE performance of an "Ike and Tina Turner song.

That was totally unexpected and PRICELESS......Some things you just can't take for granted. Like the precious moments that you share with your children. thumbs_up.gif

I also got a late present on monday...a DISHWASHER!!!!!!! but my favorite gift was a list of the ten best things about me from my 10 yr old.. come to think of it, I believe the list was the best gift i have ever received. he listed things about me that i thought nobody else ever noticed..ironically one of them was that I always do the dishes. Maybe thats what gave dh his big idea.

I got the Betty Crocker Bake & Fill pans. My 5 year old has been seeing the commercial forever and REALLY wanted to get it for me. I'm looking forward to trying it. I think I'm going to try doing a Boston Cream Pie with it. Then I want to try that CMD Lethal Chocolate Peppermint cake with Breyers Mint Choc. chip ice cream! icon_razz.gif

For mother's day my kids CLEANED THE WHOLE HOUSE! which was no small task because we just finshed renovating part of my basement and it was a tremendous mess. I don't even know how they managed! I even checked the closets and nothing came tumbling down! and DH got me the I LOVE LUCY 6TH SEASON DVD'S which I play while I decorate cakes. But the cleaned house = peace for me. More time for cakes!

DH asked the women in his office what they thought a really nice Mother's Day gift would be?

They all said a full day at the SPA. icon_rolleyes.gif

So, he asks me if that was something I would like? I asked him approximatley what "a day at the spa" would cost? He said around 200 dollars! icon_surprised.gif

So I told him to take that money and put it toward an edible printer!
HAHAHAHAHAHA icon_lol.gif

He said, " I thought that is what you would say!" thumbs_up.gif

WHOO-HOO!! icon_biggrin.gif

My mothers day wasn't really great. My DS (icon_cool.gif was very grumpy and whiney all day, my DD (15) was extremely mouthy and arguementative all day. My gift.......a fishtank for my oscar. It was more of a gift for the fish than it was for me.
