The load times are not related to the new look on the home page. We
have been having problems with load times from the galleries for several
months.
We are in the final stages of re-writing the gallery code and hope to
release the new and improved version soon.

Hey this is the best site around. Lets give them a chance or several to work out the bugs. There has to be hundreds with the thousands of us who are on here daily.
There was a post somewhere about right clicking on photos and opening them up in another window or tab. You can do multiple photos very quickly. I have been doing this and it totally takes the frustration of waiting forever. I go through the gallery and just do what I said above to all the photos I want to see. By the time I am done choosing all the ones I want to look at the first ones are ready to be viewed. Works like a charm for me. I will have to see if I can find that other thread and give the originator credit.

Yeah but alot of times they won't even load...it just says "page unavailable" after five minutes of waiting. I have cable modem too.
I can't even get in the gallery to view photos. I get timed out and it's very frustrating. But hey, I guess I just have to be patient.
I'm not sure if this has already been said? 
I have it where sometimes I click on the galleries tab at the top of the home page and I don't even get to the galleries! i end up having to go to MY Pics and click on Search or Album list after that! Is this just me??
