Thanks Amy, I am not a great fan of Crisco so if there was something else & it tasted good, I would love to know.

The reason it tastes good is because it is rolled buttercream fondant. I believe this has a different texture than the reg fondant or the mmf I know there are quite a few people on here who use it. I have used it myself and have some small hearts in my pics that I have made with it. I just dont know if you can model things with it tho as I found it a bit softer than reg fondant But if someone knows can you tell me pls.

I've only made this same recipe once myself and too noticed it was greasy. I used Crisco.

sorry it took me a bit longer to find out then I thought it would, the brand used was indeed aldis brand. hope that helps
