I did this cake this weekend for a little girls first birthday. It was done for a friend of mine. It was my first actually decorated cake. Any comments and helpful tips are much appreciated!

icon_redface.gif Awwww I am blushing you guys are GREAT. But yes it was my first. My husband got home from work and i showed him a picture he could not believe how good it looked! He said he just knew it was going to be a complete disaster... icon_cry.gif How encouraging! I showed hime though...hehehehe!

icon_eek.gif OMG!!! first cake and it's that amazing????? what will it be when it's your 100th??? you did a very great job!!!

And my hubby was like yours. At first wasn't too much encouraging, but now that I have my own business and that it's successful he can't do nothing but encourage me!!! I showed him huh!!
