I'll consider myself lucky. My husband actually does help with the housework, and he stays out of my way when I'm decorating. My only annoyance with him is that when I have to get something from the store, he constantly asks why. LOL Curiousity killed the cat. icon_lol.gif
Now my Father in law on the other hand....will come into the kitchen, squint, and ask..."whats that ya makin?". Even though he can clearly tell its a cake AND what the theme is. Grrr icon_mad.gif ....LOL icon_biggrin.gif
If your hub wants to be pushy and picky, kick him in the head. thumbs_up.gif

I cant even get my husband to take out the trash to the curb! But I told him I have no problem shouldering my job, my biz, coaching, and maintianing the house all by my self, so he shouldnt have a problem with me spending his money! icon_lol.gif

The cake turned out great though. I set it up and I swear the thing weighed 30 pounds! 8 of that was frosting. I'll post the prictures as soon as I get them developed. but the top tier was the 3D wilton bear pan and my husband was insistant that I use the single star tip instead of the triple start tip, granted it did look better but I counted around 2,000 stars to cover that bear! I also went the extra step and got some latex and mylar ballons and inserted them in to the hand of the bear so he was sitting on the top of the cake holding helium filled balloons! It so rocked!. Everyone was so amazed. And I ended up picking up alot of new biz from all the women there. I made my husband come and see the cake (he had to help me bring in the heavy stroller that I wrapped for the mom to be) he said it was OK (his response to everything i do) then when we got back in the car he said he had been sweating bullets all day at work hoping that cake was going to turn out! But he got Kudos when he went in to work and all the guys were telling them how their wives all want cakes now for their baby showers!

You COUNTED the stars?

That is such a special extra step with the balloons! Can't wait to see the pic.!

Great that you got some business!

I'm glad you said "like", LOL. Cause if we were family, you'd have all of us lookin over your shoulder while you're decorating.

And yes we hate when it's done to us, but face it everyone is always nosey to see whats up....LOL
