My husband and I just started building an outdoor kitchen last week. Here's a picture of our progress. It helped that we both had some time off from work last week. We hope to be able to get this licensed once we are finished. I can't get my own kitchen licensed since we have one indoor pet. Hopefully the picture will come through. It's not a big building. Just right for me to do my baking! Sorry the picture posted twice!

Good luck. It looks cute but very small. Can you use another shed for equipment storage?

Adorable....are you going to have enough room to bake and have your mixer(s), pans and all supplies you need? Are you going to decorate in it also? Just concerned it will be too small.....could just be the photo and it's deeper than it appears! Congrats! Would love to see the inside when you get further along!

I don't know the rules in your state, and I don't want to presume you haven't thought about all the consequences, but...

With a separate kitchen, will you also have to have a bathroom?

I have a kitchen in my garage, but I think those little buildings are really cute. You will also have the benefit of windows, which I don't have.

JoAnnB makes a good point....I'm lucky, as in Ohio you can use your residential kitchen (with rules), but I think in most states where a seperate kitchen is required you must have a bathroom?

I'm getting ready to convert my garage to a kitchen I can have licensed, and where I am (in Kentucky), I was told I didn't have to have a separate bathroom. He even said I could have seating for up to 10 people before I would be required to have a bathroom.

Oh, and congrats on your building. It's very cute!
