Hello,
I was wondering if you guys could give me suggestions or feed back on the cupcake I am thinking about about making:
Cupcake: Angel food
Filling: Raspberry (thinking of maybe a preserve or sauce?
)
Frosting: Vanilla Bean Buttercream
Do you think this is too much for an angel food to handle? I really want to make an angel food cupcake and I am not fond of pinapple. Can't do coconut
I welcome suggestions and changes to the above idea.

How about a Lemon Angelfood Cupcake with Raspberry Buttercream?
I've made little Angelfood Cupcakes before, but I always thought it would be crushed a bit by adding a swirl of buttercream on top.

Sounds really good, the Angelfood is light and I don't think it will compete with the other flawors.

I'm not so sure about the angel food cake and buttercream combo. I think a light, airy frosting would compliment the light texture of the cake much better.
I vote for a angel food cake with strawberry filling and frosted with chantilly cream.
