I have used a pringles can or a glass before to fill my bag. Where you put your bag down into the pringles can and fold the edge over the top in order to hold you bag while you are filling it...well I just discovered a new better method! I had to refill my bag and saw my Pampered chef dry/liquid measuring cup sitting in my drainer, the one that has a cup inside and an outer sleeve with the measurements that comes off. The outside is a little bit wider than a pringles can. I grabbed the outside sleeve and put my bag down into it and filled it. Then here is the best part, instead of having to unfold the top edge of the bag back up over the full bag and pull the whole thing out from the top like you have to do with a pringles can ( I aways make a mess at this point) I reached up from underneath the sleeve and pulled the whole thing out the bottom. It unfolded as I pulled and didn't make a mess! I am so excited...it is obviously the little things in life that excite me. icon_razz.gif I hope I explained this clearly.

Can you post a photo of the cup? I'm having a hard time visualizing this. Thanks!

great idea...unfortunately, i don't have a pampered chef measuring cup...but when i saw the picture of this...i was wondering if you could use the baby bottles that use the drop in liners? i'm sure it would be a little bit more narrow, but do you think it would work? just a thought

I am sure that you can just cut off the bottoms of the pringles can and it would work the same.

I have a plastic drinking glass that I paid 50 cents for that I use to hold the bag while I fill it. Works well! Thanks for sharing another idea in case something happens!

How clever! I don't have one, either, but this made me think of going out and buying a piece of pvc to use the same way.

Thank You!
