I'm new to cake decorating...does anyone have any ideas of what I could do for a St. Patricks day cake?

Not much. Just doing a very green, humorous edible image. This one's for *us*...so I'm not going all out or anything. icon_smile.gif

I'm making a surprise birthday cake for a woman on St Patty's day. Her friend, who asked me to make it, requested something with Tinkerbell and shamrocks. I'm just doing a FBCT on a 9 x 13 cake, half yellow butter cake, half devils food. I'm thinking alot of sparkles, too! LOL

Last year, I monkeyed around and tried MMF for the first time. (pic in photo album) It was alot of fun and didn't turn out half bad, IMO. This year, no cake for the family. DH and I are so sick of cake since my daughter and I have started Wilton classes last month. I need a break from eating cake!!

Sound great. Can I have a piece? We are dieting and no bites of cake around. I can't even mess up so I can eat the disaster.

I'm just going to put green food color in my scrambled eggs that morning, since I don't have any St. Patrick's Day cake orders and gave up all sugar and sweets for Lent! icon_biggrin.gif
