I just wanted to ask for prayers for my sweet friend Jo (jscakes)~ She just lost her dear brother yesterday. She was very close to him. He passed away in his sleep. Please pray for her & her family. She has a son on the road who is a truck driver please pray for traveling grace that he gets home safe & sound & that Jo doesn't worry so much~

I met Jo on CC over a year ago. I feel like I've known her all my life. She is a wonderful, dear, sweet friend. Taught me a lot about cakes & life! Please pray for her~ She needs to be lifted up to the Lord.

Thank you all~ God bless ~TC~

Lord,

Here we are again asking you to bless another one of our friends here on CC. we know you will hold our friend close and keep her and her son safe and thinking strait in this time of sorrow. We ask that you reach your mighty hand down and touch the hearts of our friend and her family so that the healing process can begin. Take care of the family and walk beside them to shed light in their dark time. We ask you of this in unison in the name of Jesus,

Amen.

Jo take care of yourself and your family and know your brother is now with the lord. smile for his happiness and glory, for he walks with God on streets of Gold.

I just don't know what to say, Thank You everyone for the thoughts and prayers.
Tina, for putting this thread out there, bless your heart.
We have a large family, so the pain and sorrow is reaching far and wide.
It's been extremely difficult, my brother was my best friend. I haven't known this much pain in my life ever and can't imagine how a parent feels losing a child, no matter what age. I am watching my parents in their grief and can do nothing to ease the pain they are dealing with. Our faith helps us through this difficult time, without it we would be lost.

DH considered him a brother and was devisatated. The entire family is suffering a huge loss. Thank God we had him for his 47 years! I miss my brother.

I could go on and I won't, but truly I do so appreciate the prayers and thoughts and will most assuredly pass this on to the family.

"Thank You" seems so inadequate right now, but it's all I have to give. Now I desperately need some sleep so I'm going to try and get some.

Jo, I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. I almost lost my brother a few years ago, and just the thought of it was devastating. I can't imagine how you and your family must feel. I know words aren't much help to you right now, but please know everyone here is thinking of you and praying for you and your family to find peace.

Love & hugs,
Tracy

js,
As you probably know I recently lost my 39 year old nephew. My friends here at CC truly helped me through a very hard time. I was spending the nights with him while his parents and brother tried to rest. I found myself logging into CC after my shift to read the wonderful messages because I had no one to talk to and I was the one that was suppose to be strong for my Sister and her family. Everyone truly uplifted my spirits. There is nothing that I can say that will ease your pain. The loss is very real and long lasting. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers for strength and trust during this time. The book 90 Minutes In Heaven which is a true story written by a pastor was suggested as a good book a while back and not because I had lost someone recently. I held onto it and I passed it to my Sister and her Husband. The first part of the book truly helped them accept what had happen to their first born son and comforted them tremendously. The second half of the book is slow reading and I never finished it but I recommend that you send someone to the bookstore for a couple of copies of it and pass it to everyone in your family. It portrays a beautiful true story of a journey and a short stay in heaven. Please read it. I promise it will help.

Take care,

Linda

Hello all,
I want to give you all a very heartfelt thank you for your prayers and kind words for myself and my family.
We had a wonderful memorial service for my brother yesterday and what an overwhelming response from all who knew him, it was beautiful. He is dearly missed.
"Thank you" doesn't seem like much for the wonderful support you have shown, but Thank You All.
Joann
