I just wanted to let ya'll know that I had weight loss surgery on Monday (6th). Been too doped up to get on CC & say hello! 
Today is the first day I've felt like getting online period. I'm doing wonderful!!! 
Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers! Please keep them up! I need them~ Been walking up & down my street. Hurting a little but feeling great!
I'm gonna have my progress on webshots so if anyone is curious go there & check out the photo's. So far there is only pre-opt photo's. I'm hoping I can help someone else out one day like my bestest friend Tammy has helped me out! (Giving credit

Mac, I had lap band surgery. The reversable one. (Not that I will ever want it reversed. 
) The dr's say if I keep exercising (walking) during recovery I will heal much easier. I'm feeling great except for my back hurting. I had surgery on Monday & I've been walking a mile 2 times a day since Tuesday. The scales already show some weight loss. YEAH!! I just wish I could sit at the computer longer so I could look at all the new cake pictures added by you great decorator's. By the time I can sit longer I will have to be on CC all day to catch up on the cakes! 
OH, well it's worth it!!
Slow & steady Ya!! Thanks for ya'll good wishes! I was finally able to get a bra on today!!!!!! I never ever thought I'd be happy to get a freaking bra on!! I'm feeling good! Still walking! I've lost a few lbs. Jo, you keep those Levis! You'll get into them before long! I know you will!!
Susan, your so sweet, I miss IMing with you! Hope to talk soon IF I can sit longer at the computer. It's been hard.

Oh! Lap-band...ok...my mind went straight to the gastric bypass surgery...lol. From what I hear, the lap-band surgery (while it's still no fun 'cause it is a surgery! lol) is easier to heal from. Glad you're able to get out walking! Man...wish I had an excuse to go braless for days in a row!!! LOL 
Not that anyone would notice the difference, but still.....!! So happy that you're doing well! Keep us updated on your progess, please! BTW - is the reversible lap-band a surgery they can do as an outpatient? Just curious....

Thanks guys! I miss everyone! I still can't sit at the computer very long because my back starts to hurt. I guess because I have to sit up so straight. 23 staples will make you sit up straight for sure!
JennT, yes it's reverseable. If you want to get pregnant or if you just don't want it to help you stay smaller anymore you can have it reversed. So far so good I won't ever want it reversed! I've lost 18 lbs in one week. Yep, that's a lot! I'm on a boost liquid diet for 2 wks. Then the 3rd week I go to pureed foods. That's just so the stomach heals. If food goes through now it would hurt me. I'm walking over a mile 2 times a day! So that is helping the weight come off too. I'm suposed to loose 25 lbs the first month. Lap band is way safer then gastric bypass for sure! I'm healing & feeling fine! Thank you guys for the thumbs up!

I AM HOPING TO LOSE SOME MORE WEIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING IN SEPTEMBER THAT I AM MAKING THE CAKE FOR. I WILL SEND YOU AN E-MAIL LATER IN THE WEEK AND LET YOU KNOW WHAT IS UP AT THE FIREHOUSE.
