I am having trouble getting my transfers to come off the paper without messing up. I have left them in the freezer different times, but still same problem. Should they be a certain thickness to do right? Love doing these, but filling stuff in free hand just doesn't look as good.
I just did my first one and used wax paper came right off.

How long did you leave it in the freezer? Is there any trace of icing on the paper when you peel it? If there is then you need to leave it in there a little longer.
Are you taking the transfer direction from the freezer, putting it on the cake and peeling the paper right away?
Or is there time inbetween? Even a minute or two?
Me too, I didn't have wax paper so I used plastic wrap.Every time I've made one it's come off very easily.I don't spray it with anything.
I use parchment paper--it has silicone applied to it--because I find that it stays flatter and more wrinkle free than saran.
