Anyone else get this? I am so miserable.....I just had it like 3 weeks ago icon_cry.gif If any of you get it do you have any good tricks for dealing with it when you have kids, a hubby and have to work besides taking the meclezine that the doctor prescribes that knocks me out and makes me unable to do anything?

I feel your pain. I had one episode that laste 7 weeks. There isn't much you can do. I took 1/2 the dose of meclazine and it didn't make me so sleepy.

There are wrist bands you can wear for motion sickness that work for lots of people. Most drug stores have them. they are soft elastic with a little ball that applies pressure to your wrist. It might help control your symptoms.

I had it once and the meds didn't make me tired at all. Perhaps you can call your doctor back?

www.drweil.com is another good website for alternative stuff that is actually realistic.

I have vertigo too! My dad also suffers from it. It comes & goes with me. I have been fighting it for about 2 months now. Sometimes I get up & nearly fall over! My Dr recommended meclazine (over the counter) to me too. I've been using it off & on for a month. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It does seem to work for the nausea. I sure know how ya'll feel. I'm a sub school bus driver & I've had to cancel driving on several days last month because of vertigo. I can be fine & then all of a sudden I'm dizzy & can bearly stand up. I hope you ladies get some relief!! Good luck! thumbs_up.gif
