I hve two biggies this week- I am going back to work part time as a cake decorator and I am starting the Fat Smash Diet- both things that seem like an oxymoron! How do you all do the cake thing and the diet thing at the same time?

When I'm dieting I chew gum while I work with the icing so I won't be tempted to taste. Good luck on both of your new ventures.

What's the Fat Smash Diet? I've never heard of it.

I will taste things and spit them out. All the flavor, none of the fat. icon_smile.gif

I am struggling with this same dilema. I like the gum idea. I am going to try it.

Good luck with both your job and your diet!

Personally I am not a big fan of icing, I just like a little bit with the cake so I am not tempted to lick fingers or utensils while I'm baking & decorating. The gum idea sounds good though.

Good luck with it. I find that I don't want to eat the stuff if I am really busy with decorating.
