Just got a call and they want a cake for a man turning 40. tomorrow!!!!

They want a little dark humor but not too bad as it is a boss.any bright ideas??? 12x18 sheet cake.

When my boss turned 40 I did a cake with a vulture on it. over the vulture I put "Lordy Lordy" and under the vulture I put "Wayne is 40" and the vulture had pooped buttercream icing on the 40. He (and everyone else) loved it! I'll have to post it later or tomorrow.

how about.. " Happy 18th Birthday!" and in small writing.. (..with 22 years experiance)..

All good ideas! I kinda liked the one that was posted the other day with the candles, it said something like "They are following you David", thought it was pretty good for a guy! Janice

I did a cake for a 30th b-day and made a "fortune" wheel on it with different sayings like "older than dirt" "over the hill" older than dinosaurs". You get the idea. I made it interactive to where people could spin an arrow!

Thanks for the ideas saved my bu##! I did Lordy Lordy Jon is Forty with a vulture and thanks for the transfer idea I had never heard of it and it workd great Sorry I did not take a picture finished late and dh took the cake to work at 5:30
