Um....was I the only one who saw Diana Ross sing and went icon_rolleyes.gif ? And was it my imagination or was Simon hiding behind his huge Coka-Cola cup with a bog ole smirk on his face?

Just wondering if I am alone thinking that at least 3...possibly 4 of the women sang better than Miss Ross (whom I have always loved, btw)

OMG ... I really did not think she sounded good. Yikes!!! As Randy would say, "Yo, dawg, check it out, check it out ... there were some pitchy spots, and there was no 'yo' factor. Ehhh ... dawg, it was just OK for me." icon_lol.gif

LOL. That's so funny! I think the guys are in bad shape this season. No "YO" factor, and I totally missed Diana Ross singing...I must have fast forwarded too far when I sat down to watch it last night with DH.

Darn it all!! I erased it, too!!!

You were not alone. I think she was sipping on Paula's special drink in that cup before she went on stage. She could not hold a pose to save her life.

If she was a contestant, she surely would've been ripped to pieces....as would most entertainers out today. icon_lol.gif

I thought the same thing! I told my husband as she was trying to balance during her opening--look honey she is drunk! icon_lol.gif And then she opened her mouth. I Fast forwarded through most of her performance...

She certainly isn't the singer she used to be, but you gotta give her props for looking fabulous at her age.

Hope she does better on tour!

I should not have taken a sip of coffee before reading that....I sprayed it all over the keyboard!! icon_lol.gif rotflmao

Yeah, I felt really bad. She seemed sort of drunk or tipsy so I guess the other poster was right about sharing Paula's cup!

Odd moment for Simon, but he did look like he was not enjoying it at all.

LOL. That is too scary, you sound exactly like him.

I noticed also that she couldn't balance well at the beginning of her performance and she didn't sound great either.

This is so funny because I said the same thing to my hubby while we were watching it! I told him, "Could thing she's not a contestant because she'd be going home tonight!"

THat said, I've always been a big fan and she IS older than most of us, so considering she's, what? 60-ish?, it wasn't bad.

Okay, so it wasn't just me???

Didn't she almost fall over when she came out?

Gotta say though, I wish I could sing half as well as she does now! But, if I were up there -- Simon would send me packing! icon_lol.gif
