I ordered a Delonghi on December 23rd and it STILL has not arrived and was postponed again until April 26th. So I went ahead and ordered a KA. Pro 600, bowl lift, cayenne red. I wish we could post pictures with people, you would do see me hugging and kissing my new friend

I'm doing a wedding cake for my best friend and she wants a red velvet cake. I just want to make sure that I have one that will be good for decorating and won't fall apart. I don't want to try a new one only to find out that it isn't dense enough. Anybody have any good suggestions for one they have used before?

Your "baby" is beautiful, quiter than a real baby, and has a better chance of staying quiet all night (unless you are a nighttime baker).

My baby will arrive sometime tomorrow. I'll probably be up all night shining up my kitchen so that it has a nice place to live. Mine is sealed Cinnamon Red, I wonder if that's the same as the Cayenne or if the shades are different. Yours matches your kitchen perfectly! LOL, when mine gets here it won't be able to fit under the cabinets, so it will have to go where my coffee pot is. The coffee pot will lose it's place of honor and be shoved under the cabinets into the corner, LOL. I think I'm losing it. I think it's cool you posted a pic.

I think I had your baby's twin!! LOL. My husband and I just welcomed our little red metal baby into our kitchen on Monday night. She has already been sleeping through the night and is a wonderful baby.
I got the exact same model as yours at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $320. I was lucky to catch it with a 20% off coupon. That plus a $30 rebate will bring the price down to $290. I'd say that baby is well worth the money.

Thanks you all! I ordered mine from the KA website. It's refurbished and cost $229! With the pouring shield and delivery it was $277. I read a LOT about refurbished models and felt really comfortable with it (especially considering the price). I'm so glad it actually matches! I thought it was a bit risky, because if the tone was off it could really clash, so now I'm even more excited than when I ordered it. Thank you all so much!
