I have been keeping my eyes open for a "reasonably priced" (meaning under $200) rare Lambeth book, and this one knocked my socks off!

Guess I will have to take out a second mortgage if I want to get this book..........

There are reprints sometimes available if all you want is the information and not the beautiful originals. I bought one on eBay about 6 months ago for $25. Yep - $25. It is the ninth printing, 1980, and has that pressed and coated cardboardish-stuff cover rather than leather, and it has a few marks inside, but all pages are intact. Keep your eyes open......

At first I thought you were talking about this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/VintageLAMBETH-METHOD-CAKE-DECORATING-AND-PASTRIES-BOOK_W0QQitemZ230099818448QQihZ013QQcategoryZ46281QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

But that one is a bit more 'impressive'. It should come with a teacher....

By the way, I also saw this: http://cgi.ebay.com/1921-CAKE-Decorating-DESIGN-Book-BAKING-Pastry-RECIPES_W0QQitemZ190088353071QQihZ009QQcategoryZ46281QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ....but from what I can see, it only touches upon the Lambert method.

Happy hunting.
