This is like the old folk tale, The Emperor's New Suit, or whatever it's called.

LanaC - that must be a white chocolate Hershey's Kiss, right?

Anyway, that's MY cake, group! It's called The Wedding Cake that Ate The Upstate NY Great Lakes Region. It is 12 feet tall, and covered with white royal icing snowflakes.

(For those in other nations, the Great Lakes region of Northeastern US was bombarded with snow during February, some areas getting as much as 14 feet of snow in two weeks).

OK y'all, that is quite enough. Now, we all know that no one here actually made this cake. I know for a fact that it was a collaborative effort with the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the Easter Bunny.

Don't you know this cake was featured in ACD recently. I believe the title was "How'd They Do That?"

I thought the title for that article was

"Where The Heck Is It?". Or was that in the previous issue?

I have an announcement! Everybody, I have an announcement!

Yes, it was my cake. Took me almost a whole week to make it. Four layers, serves 400.

Here's a pic of a similar cake, this one's smaller, it only serves 50:

Oh no you didn't icon_mad.gif - you all better back off taken' credit for my cake. Don't make me come over there. Do you all realize how long it took me to come up with that exact color? And to get the inlays seemless, and the stringwork perfect.......I could go on - like a nightmare!

I cant believe you all are trying to take credit for MY cake! Seriously. I cant believe some of you would be so brazen as to take credit. Anyway, Duff Goldman asked me personally to create this cake for a gala. He knew he just didnt have the talent to create something of this magnitude. I was paid very very well. icon_lol.gif

Haven't you heard? The invisible man and invisible woman are getting married and they needed a cake. They came to me in tears and did not know what to do. They had already been to the Emporer's seamstress to make the dress and tux, but for a cake they were at a loss. I took it upon myself to create the gem before you. It has a fountain below and a 16" and 12" stacked tiers. On some pillars is another 8" cake. It is covered in bc and covered in stringwork and pearls. There are beautiful sprays of roses. It is a sight to behold. Cinderella's fairy godmother is picking it up for them tomorrow.
