Not ugly at all! In fact it looks like a great night time snack. YUMMMM!
I'm not voting under those categories, no one is going to tell you it's ugly, you silly goose. Besides which it looks decadant and so delicious. Cutting it will be another matter, all that lovely chocolate will probably end up on the cake board and table. But it's for family, they will pick up each piece and savor it, I'm sure.
I don't think it's ugly, I think it looks absolutely delicious! Remember, we're our own worst critics. Don't be so hard on yourself, it was your first time! LOL, I've been pouring chocolate into molds for the past 2 days, and I'm having a hard time leaving them alone. I feel the need to fix them. Don't worry you're not alone.
I don't think it's possible for chocolate to be ugly. 
This was a cake that my husband and I were having different opinions on. He did not like it at all. I liked it, but was not in love with it (except for eating the chocolate

ShirleyW- I made it annonomyous (cant spell or say that word) for those people that did want to say it was ugly. Thank you though, you made me giggle (silly goose).
I am now having a serious chocolate craving!
