I have spent well over an hour in the search mode looking for the topic "preserving a cookie" I've posted in the forum and I remember how most spoke of sealing them. My question is, I know their are cake dummies out there, has anyone made a cookie dummy and I just haven't seen it posted? I DON'T REMEMBER! icon_cry.gif

Since cookies are more stable than cake, you can make examples that will last almost forever. I have some I made for the State Fair 4 years ago that look like new. For cookies, a 'dummy' isn't required.

Be sure to label the packages - for display only-Not for eating.

Shyann-
If you go into your profile, you can look up all your former forum posts. It should be in there.

sadly I did and it isn't there. I went through every one of them and....nothing. I was sooo frustrated.

Thanks Joann, I was hoping there was an idea that I didn't need to bake again. Verrrryyyy laze right now. I have a few cookies out there that are over 8 years old now and are mummified. I just didn't want to waist a bowl of dough.

I have an idea and I will try it soon, I'll keep you posted.

PS. Mits did you get my PM last night? I sent you two and the "sent, outbox" was empty. I was having a baaaaad night last night.
