Hi everyone,

I will be making a baby shower cake for this coming Saturday, I wanted to do a sheet cake with the onsie & booties on top. So my question for the booties is do I make the booties ahead of time or will it harden & crack?

From what I've read from other people making these they just moulded them from a piece of fondant, so I'm hoping this will work for me as well icon_redface.gif

TIA

I think if you make them out of fondant and gum tex, and it will harden ok with out cracks, thats how I made a fondant ribbon bow cake on a wilton class and the bow is still with out any cracks.

Happy baking!!!

sassijen, thank you for that link on the baby booties. It is so helpful to see a project being demonstrated. Words sometimes get fogged up in this aging brain of mine.
