Create a old style nurse hat and a stethoscope and place them on a sheet cake stating congratulations. Or if the school that she is graduating from has a crest, you could do a buttercream transfer of that image.

Maybe something to look like a band-aid?

Does a nurse have a "bag" like a doctor has a doctor's bag?

wow that cake is really cute. I will show it to my cousin and see if she like it. I like the idea of doing the crest. Not to sure which school she is going to though. I like the band aid idea too. Maybe a stacked cake with little edible bandaids and on the top a nurses hat and stethascope drapping down to the bottom layer.. .... hmmm will have to give my cousin these ideas and let her choose. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO much for your help my ideas are really flowing now. I just had to get a little push start.

I can email you instructions for a nurse cake made with a ball pan & oval pan if you would like them.

Nurses week is coming up MAY 6-12 2005 (never to early to start planning), I was hoping that the creative minds might stir a little to help give me ideas for a Cupcake Cake with a BCT or a regular design for the top. My wife works, as an ER nurse and I wanted to make a cake for the Nurses. The Cupcake cake seems like the best kind to make as they dont always have time to sit down and eat a regular slice of cake.
I have searched the forums for nurse and Nursing and have found a few ideas however; I was hoping that some other ideas might flow from those who frequent here.
