last saturday, i made a dummy cake to take to a dance competition. they do a silent auction, so i auctioned off one special occassion cake. i wasnt completely thrilled with it, but everyone went CRAZY. i was bombarded with people asking me for business cards. whoa. i havent decorated in a while...just practicing a ton. so me and my mom print up about 40 cards. 5 left. and my parents are talking about renting a place and building a kitchen in it to have for me to decorate at! i cant believe my dream is coming true so fast. im only 19...i figured this would happen around 40. yay!!!!! i dont mean to brag, i just know everyone here knows how excited i am!

Good luck with your acceptance into the "Culinary Institute for Hard Knocks" Studies... Just be sure to take some business courses along with the culinary courses.. The kitchen will only be a matter of time.
