I accidently bought the wrong kind of cake mix, I bought cinnamon, instead of white. The problem is I had planned on using ganache as the icing, so the question is, are cinnamon and chocolate ganache a gross combo? Also, the filling will be creamcheese! Please, let me know what you think!! Thanks!
Oh gosh, no, this should be a great combo. In fact I add a bit of cinnamon to my chocolate icing often, haha, also a bit of coffee sometimes. No, chocolate goes well with any kind of spice cake. Mexican Chocolate Cake has cinnamon with the chocolate. For people that like cream cheese icing, haha, it goes with most things.

I think both would be great. The chocolate cinnamon combo makes me think of a Texas sheetcake! I love those and they have cinnamon right in the chocolate cake! And like llee815 said, the cream cheese would be just like a cinnamon bun!
