They don't print out to the right size. Although I'll be glad to add them for people who know how to resize the page before printing.
You can always email me for the actual pattern that will print correctly. Just let me know which format.. Word or Works. If I place them on the email, again, they may not print to actual size.

Dawn-- Great tutorial! Nice, clear pictures. Thanks for doing this. (I bought the pattern kit, but haven't tried it yet. Now you've inspired me.)
Just one question: Why do you use egg white for the "glue" to adhere the pieces together? I always use water when decorating cakes, cookies, etc. with fondant pieces. I would think you could do the same with the booties. No? Isn't there a health issue involved with raw egg white? Thanks.
Yes, there is a health issue technically. In my opinion, you don't use enough of the raw egg to matter. Also, these never really get eaten. Every set I've ever made the mom-to-be has saved them to display in the nursery. Properly stored, these figurines will last literally longer than you and I will. I guess you could use water. I've not had any luck with water holding over the long haul (as in storing for a keepsake). Some people use vodka and other make grunge (sp?). I was taught to use egg white. It really works best if you're saving these things forever, as my customers do.
Hi Diane, just came here to check out the booties tutorial. My guess on the gloves, in addition to sanitary reasons, would be to keep from having fingerprints on the booties. Also, I learned from experience, when you add color to the fondant when you are ready to use it, you get a lot of color on your hands, mine were pink all day, but the color did finally wash off. I'm now trying to figure out how to keep from poking my fingernails into the fondant!
Tip coat you hands with shortening before you add color to fondant and you wont have no color on your hands

I'll try to post my cross cake Sat as I will be doing all the icing/decorating tomorrow. I baked the 1/2 sheet and thought about layering it but decided I didn't want to take the chance shimmying the top layer off and something happening.
My wonderful MIL is coming over too to watch my little one so I can fully concentrate on the decorating
