How Do I "glue" Fondant Pearls To Fondant Cake?

I have glued many pearls to fondant cakes with buttercream icing. They can be knocked off, but you can re-stick it easy enough!

If you HAVE to use butter cream
I would do what Ladycake said:
You could use Royal icing with the thinest tip like a 00 or 0 or 1 or you can use piping gel...
Just using buttercream instead.
Be aware that buttercream is not the best solution.

I've glued strands of fondant pearls to a fondant cake simply by wetting the area with some water. I use a fine water color brush to do it. The water will soften the fondant just enough to get sticky and stick together. Anther great option is the royal icing, but I would stay away from the buttercream.
