Green & Fuschia
I LUV this cake!! Made it for a bridal show. Fringe was found in bead dept at Walmart and knew it would make a great cake! The ribbon the dangly things was fuschia, so I colored fondant fuschia & cut out the circles. Don't have fondant cutter sets, so I used my 2B tip for the large circles, a regular tip for the mid circles & good 'ole #5 tip for the small ones. Gotta confess I had fun making this cake! Cake is on a short acrylic stand, with tulle for that "sitting on a cloud" look. Big hit at show!

Captiva Cake Pink And Brown
This is my own signature design -- fustrated with disaster whimsy cakes, but wanting a differnt look -- developed the Captiva line == Captiva, French for "cage" -- these cakes are encased in a cage of fondant -- made basically by putting covered boards that are at least 2 inches larger than the cake -- and then applying fondant strips -- This is one of my favoirtes... the create a great illusion --

Rose Bouquet
I was asked by my friend to do something different for her daughter's bridal shower. Chocolate cake (baked in an 8" bowl) with Kahlua bc filing -- fondant /gumpaste roses and leaves. These 25 roses took me almost 2 hours but it was still easier and more enjoyable than hydrangeas! I'll practice flowers more when I get the metal gp tools and cutters recommended by ShirleyW. TFL!
