Thanksgiving Leaves
I made this for the HR lady at my husband's job. They had their thanksgiving meal today and she ordered this for the party. It's an 11X15" chocolate/chocolate chip cake with buttercream icing. I made the leaves and acorns out of gumpaste and painted them all by hand. Thanks for looking!

Turquoise And White Seashell Cake
Another dummy cake for our cake studio. We wanted to do something different for a seashell theme. So I alternated coral and seagrass on the bottom tier piped with royal icing. then a bubble pattern on the turquoise tier, above that we filled a small 4 in. glass vase with seaglass and real shells and then on the tier above the vase, I did jellyfish piped in royal icing and finally the ball above that with a few more bubbles. Finished the board and one turquoise tier with some fondant shells. TFL

Thomas And Sir Topham Hat
This is a birthday cake for a little girl of one of the director's where I work. It is my first carved cake...Design from Debbie Brown's book and thanks to Merissa who gave me tips on how to do this! I was pretty pleased with it overall and I really learned a lot...mostly that it takes ages to do!!!! Thanks for looking!

Another Bountiful Centerpiece Cake
This cake was a nightmare to do, obviously. My problems started when my torting attempt ended up diagonally through the cake. Then I had problems with my handwriting. My great hope is that no one at the church potluck tomorrow gets sick. It is cream cheese icing and it has taken me a heck of a long time to get this dang cake done. There will be candles in it tomorrow.
