Friday Faves: Snowmen, Dragons and More!

Pink sugar roses and cute gumpaste kittens; vintage tea parties and warm scents from the kitchen; three-layer cakes covered in buttercream: these are a few of our favorite things!

As editors of Cake Central magazine, we come across so many awesome, inspiring things while working. From users to cake creations to wedding inspiration to cool new products, we want to share a few of our favorite finds with you every week.

Here are this week’s Friday faves!

CC Member button-moon consistently uploads beautiful photos and I always look forward to seeing what the Little Cherry Cake Company from Lancashire, England is up to!

Justine’s Faves:

These cute snowman macarons from Mdgosnell put a smile on my face! Dainty and cheery, they’d be perfect for a holiday party or a cozy night in. The presentation– snowflake sprinkles on the mint green tray– adds an extra wintry touch.

Say the words “Harry Potter” and “cake” in the same sentence and you’ve got my attention. This fun cake from RebeCake unites classic Potter symbols for a cake worthy of Harry himself.

Andi’s Faves:

My love for craft-inspired cakes is unending, and I instantly fell for JuliaMUsher’s needlepoint-style cookies. The evenly placed details are what make these cookies instantly recognizable as needlepoint, and the amount of patience and skill required to keep the dots even is also what makes these so impressive.

This little baby dragon by tmalvey is beyond adorable. Its face reminds me of cute, small lizards, and I can’t help but smile when I look at it.
