Are you kidding me??? You are beautiful, you are INCREDIBLY talented and you're NORMAL! I love listening to your videos, because 1) I love your accent, but more importantly 2) You talk/teach as if you're just talking to your friends, not like you're better or more important than your audience. Y'all know what I mean... I don't watch some food shows b/c of the "uppity-ness" of the host/hostess.

I guess is cause I teach this to students that are learning cake decorating. I do love teaching..but I do get more from the fact that they get it. It makes me happy when somebody comes back and show me what they have done and learned!

Thank you so much, Edna, for the four videos on making calla lilies! You are an excellent teacher -- just watching them, I would think, "Ok, how do you..." and the next sentence answered the question! The videos are very clear, easy to follow, and gave lots of details that I cannot find in books.

Just one query regarding your icing in the video: why does it look like it was practically smoothing itself and appeared to not have one air bubble?!! huh? lol Seriously, do you remember which icing that was? Was it purchased in a tub or made fresh at your cakery?

By the way..the icing at the shop is made there. Is your basic recipe with butter high ratio and flavorings of almond and vainilla. I do this all the time with the wilton recipe since I am a Wilton teacher too.
I change to high ratio for a better consistency when I do my class. But I have to deal with the students icing too.
I think the way that the icing is done makes a difference in the consistency.. I see it weekly. Going from bubbles to perfectly smooth icing on my students. But one thing is ..they ususally get it!
