So there are 3 letters in a monogram, two smaller ones next to a larger one in the middle. Which parts of the name are in the monogram? TIA!!

It usually goes: Bride's first name initital, Couples new last name initial, grooms first name initial. So for Mark & Tammy Wilson you would have TWM

When placing the monogram on the cake do the first initials or the last initial go in the front?

Thanks!

Before the wedding the bride's name goes first, but after the wedding the groom's name goes first. At least that's what I was taught. icon_smile.gif

I was wondering about that - seemed odd for the brides name to come first (to me at least). Thanks ...

Does the center larger initial go slightly in front of the smaller outside initials or the other way around? I've seen them both ways and am wondering which way is correct.
