The mother of the bride had no reaction when she saw it and didn't even mention anything about the roses. We had agreed to have 30 roses but I ended up putting a lot more. Maybe I'm just too sensitive about this!!!! Thanks again to all and I can't take credit for the "petals". I got the idea from a CC member.

It is a beautiful cake. I don't see anyone would not react. The roses makes me think of Sylvia Weinstocks roses. Reminiscent of her cakes. The buttercream is beautiful as well. :D
