This was a lot of fun to make. The customer was the daughter of the 40-year couple and gave me free rein to do whatever I wanted to the cake. Her only requirement was that it be white with turquoise, and that I put edible figures of her parents on top of the cake with her mom wearing a turquoise mini-dress and her dad wearing a white shirt and baby blue pants... exactly what they wore on their wedding day 40 years before. She said she wanted a big cake, more like a wedding cake, since they had never had a real wedding cake before. Ta-da! She was very happy. Figures made of modeling chocolate. All other decorations are fondant.
