This is a Phinease and Ferb cake for my son's 7th birthday. I used toys for the characters(i don't usually do that), but he wanted them to play with later. I pulled sugar waves from isomalt. The entire topper(sugar waves, gumpaste surf board) lifted off the cake as one piece. I used a photo box to take cake picture with blue backdrop that can be lifted out an photo shop with a nice beach backdrop added. Sets the scene. I had the flying Perry character on a black stand suspended over cake. The cake was a rainbow cake with coconut cream cheese frosting and Hawaiian cream filling. Yummy!
