2-D Noah's Ark for a child's birthday. White cake with fruit filling, buttercream icing.

This is a half sheet cake sized cake, and this one also almost didn't survive...! We don't have the filling tips at our bakery, we cut the cake in half and smooth on filling that way. As I attempted to replace the top of the cake after filling it (because I didn't notice the order said "strawberry filling" until AFTER I carved it, of course) the top layer slid off the board and folded over into bits in the filling. I had to summon ninja super powers to use bits of cake left from carving to form the rest of the top layer. Whew.
