The birthday boy requested his pet guinea pigs be created as decorations for his birthday cake. So this is what I came up with based off pictures of his actual guinea pigs. This is a 6" vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and fondant decorations. The guinea pigs are rice krispy treats covered in fondant. The log is made from gumpaste. The guinea pig on top is Butterscotch and the one on the side is Fiona. The birthday boy loved his cake!
