For the wood look, I put the detail in the strip wih a knife then added diluted warm brown Americolor w/vodka, waited a few seconds wiped off with a paper towel with the grain and then did it again with regular brown. :wink:
Yes the background was sprayed and then I tinted buttercream and went for it like paintings I use to do. I must say, BC is harder to work with though. :D
