I added a 9 inch cake to the bottom of the doll pan, used dowel rods so the doll cake wouldn't smash the 9 inch cake. I didn't want to take the legs off the doll, and the doll pan needed to be taller. I used the Wilton Cake Corer to make my hole, then wrapped the doll in press and seal, she slid it nicely. I forgot one main thing using the cake corer... I had to make a hole in the cardboard the doll cake sat on, so the corer would go all the way down to the 9 inch cake. Good thing I didn't get too far, I was able to fix it. This was my first doll cake, it was easier than I thought!
