Here's my second cake. It got a bit busy on the top because I was practicing with a few different tips. Lol. Oh well. Like the title says, it's just a practice cake. Not for anything special. I used a mayonnaise chocolate cake recipe that I found somewhere on here. I can't remember where though! Whoever it is that posted it, thank you! The icing is a simple buttercream. The first time I used it was for the decorating on my Halloween cake. As soon as I spread it out to hold the fondant in place, I regretted that I had even made a fondant. Buttercream spreads so smoothly that I wished I had just used that! Lol. I did only use the buttercream on this one though and I like how it turned out... except for the busy-ness part. :D
