Looks like real roses in a real basket! Great job!!!!!! That is soooo cool that your cake was able to raise so much money!!!!
Absolutely amazing job! I truly thought those flowers were real.
Something like this really makes you think you can make something of this caking thing, doesn't it?
That is lovely, you are very talented! Well done for raising so much for such a good cause.
It's wonderful to hear when everything comes together...cause, donater, bidder. It's a beautiful cake.
Congratulations! Beautiful cake! Such a wonderful contribution to a great cause! That purchaser had great taste!
I appreciate you all taking the time to post. Now I have to figure out what to make for next year's auction.
...and to think, I was tickled that my cake brought $61 at an auction for DDs' school. This is just awesome!
Oh, Jan... as usual your work is amazing! I am so thrilled for you and for the fact that this cake raised so much for such a worthy charity. I am also thrilled that your incredible talent was recognized and this cake was, obviously, fought for by the bidder! Well done!
I'm still smiling! Hope they had the cake for dessert tonight. It was a yellow cake with strawberry filling. The "dirt" was curshed chocolate mint cookies. Used Albert Uster Massa fondant, which is yummy.
I was asked to make a cake for the Child Abuse Prevention Council's annual fund raiser. My 6" tall cake, which is also only 6" round, sold last night for over $600. I'm thrilled!!!
I posted it in my photos, but I don't know how to add a link so I hope you don't mind that I'm posting it again here.
Great job and kudos for giving to such a great cause!
WTG you should be proud of yourself. Of course they'll expect bigger and better next year lol
