Oldest’S 8Th
My oldest son is turning 8! This cake gave me a few problems, and I know it’s far from perfect, and not quite as professional looking as I’d like, but I’m putting in a lot more practice now! The bottom tier is an 8” cookie layer cake with cookie dough filling and brown sugar SMBC. My favorite flavor so far! The top tier is a 6” s’mores cake, made with a spiced graham cracker sponge, milk chocolate SMBC, marshmallow cream, and then each layer has a graham cracker crumble and melted chocolate on top. The colored buttercream is an American buttercream, and all the accents are modeling chocolate; it was also my first time stenciling with royal icing!

Mirror Glaze Cakes
In the end, they didn’t stay reflective once it dried, but they were pretty for a few hours! I sprayed them with some chocolate shine spray to add a bit of shine to them once they went matte. These are milk chocolate cakes with a coffee buttercream, and a milk chocolate mirror glaze and milk chocolate flower.

Graduation Dessert Table!
I only got one graduation order this year, but that’s ok! It’s a start! The cake was actually donated, but the cupcakes and cake pops are order add-ons, so that was great! Cake pops are marble, cupcakes are half vanilla, half chocolate with vanilla SMBC, and the cake is marble, with a combination chocolate American buttercream, and vanilla SMBC, all with chocolate accents. Made in an 80 degree kitchen cause my AC is out, and it sucked, but happy to have it done!

Princess Birthday Cake!
My daughter’s second birthday cake! It’s not near as neat as I’d like, but after the busiest week I’ve ever had, I worked with what I had, which was no time, a dirty kitchen with no counter space, and leftover sculpting materials. Man, I don’t know how to keep up with the mess, haha! I applaud those of you who do this way more than I do! The sword and cake itself are actually my own design, too!
