Killer Cake!!

BEWARE!!...lol This cake will bite back at ya!! I had a blast doing this!! A couple of firsts for me on this cake... It was the first time I used the paper towel method and loved it!! It was also the first time I torted a cake. It was a fun practice cake for me. The monster hand is made with royal icing. Thanks!!

Hooters

Finally!! This was the cake I was planning on making for hubbys birthday on Oct. 13th.but my oven had different plans for me, so the element went out while in the middle of cooking his cake!! Just got it fixed yesterday eveningso I went ahead and made the cake for hubby. He loved it!! He had to call up all his buddies to come check it out. I just feel bad that he couldnt have it on his b-day. Sorrythe picture is not too good. This is my first time using MMF.It was a lot easier to work with then I thought it would be. I know that I need a lot more practice..but I had fun!! I free handed the hooters logo with edible markers.

This guy is my very first sculpted cake. (Its only the 3rd cake I have ever decorated other than slapping some frosting on a sheet cake!...lol) He didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. Next time there is a few things that I will do differently. It was a fun learning experience though and the family just loved him. I want to thank mjones17 for the instructions and to LittleBigMomma for her encouragement.
