Caramel Cream Cone Pie
So this is actually a Dulce de Leche Pie, but I couldn't resist the alliteration. My favorite pie of all times -- I usually just switch up the decoration every time I make it. This time, with chocolate butterflies. http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2018/07/a-kaleidoscope-of-not-cake-aka-pie.html

White Chocolate Entremet With Orange Blossom Creme And Caramel
Loved this little mousse cake. I made 12 for a recent dinner party . They made quite the statement -- especially the finishing touch of the caramelized hazelnut. It was so sharp though! My husband cut the roof of his mouth while eating it! Definitely something I will warn people about in the future lol. http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2018/02/mirrors-and-mousses-and-daggers-oh-my.html

Petal Perfect Cake
Made this cleveland cassatta cake for my cousin's b-day. Decorated with real rose petals, vanilla-rose meringues, sugar pearls, and colored sugar from my recent trip to France. She loved it! (I love rose petals for decoration -- makes things look harder than they were lol) http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2018/02/petal-perfect.html

Favorite Summer Cake
This cake is my favorite -- strawberries, custard, and whipped cream, and I spruced up the appearance by piping a bunch of whipped cream flowers using Russian piping tips. Whipped cream is a little soft to get truly gorgeous flowers, but it ended up tasting amazing lol. http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2017/08/strawberry-sun-days-of-summer.html

Love Story Wedding Cake
This is a dummy cake that I made for my brother's wedding. The wedding was 3 hours away, so I didn't think I could reliably transport a real cake. He and his wife met while in school and dated through medical school, so the bottom tier shows them studying together. He proposed in Prague, which is the second from bottom tier, and the third tier is them dancing on their wedding day. The monogram is both their initials and the "cake" is topped with gumpaste flowers.

"doctored" Grocery Store Cake
Hey you all -- so this is a bit of a cheat. Had to take a couple of cakes across country and wanted to make sure it would be safe and all, so didn't want to do it in my own kitchen. Instead, I bought a couple of grocery store cakes and put little embellished frosting sheet decorations on gumpaste and stuck them on. They were a huge hit -- easy and successful!

Library Cake
I made this cake for my birthday. Chocolate Baileys with caramel and ganache filling/frosting. Made the decorations out of fondant with edible frosting sheet for the pictures. The only thing that isn't edible is the toothpicks for tree trunks in the front http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2016/10/have-your-cake-and-read-it-too.html

Stained Glass Cake
Birthday cake for my cousin. I was looking for "cold weather" flavors, so I finally decided on a chai cake with butterscotch chips, banana cream filling and maple cream cheese icing. It was a hit -- and I have to say that although this particular design was time-consuming, the process of painting was actually very relaxing. http://cupofsugarpinchoflove.blogspot.com/2016/02/stained-glass-stories-and-best-cake.html
