Fashion Inspired Paris Theme'd Cake
I had so much fun putting this cake together for my latest Craftsy class (Elegant Techniques) as one of the inspiration cakes. I'm so excited to finally share it!! The bottom tier is wafer paper, the middle is modeling chocolate with a pin dot silhouette effect and the top is a bas-relief technique. It would be perfect for those sweet birthdays or wedding showers!! Thanks for looking! For more info, you can visit my website.

Herringbone Wood, Rouch & Hammered Copper Cake
I made this cake as part of my latest class which was all about textures. The bottom herringbone wood is a no-paint effect I fell in love with. My daughter had a shirt with the rouching texture on it, so I decided I "needed" to figure out how to put it on a cake and loved how it turned out. Then the hammered copper was the icing on the cake! It turned out to be such a fun, sophisticated, urban chic sort of cake. Thanks for looking!
