Ruby Red Slippers - Kansas
This was for a lady who was moving out of state and going to Kansas. I was inspired by many other cakes here on Cake Central. The slippers are all fondant. I didn't have any piping gel, so I painted on some light corn syrup and rolled the slippers in red crystal sugar (from the sprinkles aisle in the grocery store) It gave the slippers some sparkle and texture. This was a fun cake to make.

Hannah Montana Cake
My friend wanted a HM cake for her daughter's birthday, but she told me that I could do whatever I wanted to do. This is what I came up with. I bought a folder in the Back to School section at the store and cut her picture out and covered it in clear contact paper. Iced in BC w/ MMF accents. I struggle w/ making unique sheet cakes, but she really liked this one....so that's always nice.

Camo Groomcake With Pictures
This is a cake that I did last October for my cousin's wedding. His bride and mom picked out different pictures that represented different phases of his life and I had edible images created of them. Of course, I blurred the faces as per CC rules. This was a really fun cake to make and it got a lot of good response which always makes me feel good. Iced in all buttercream. T Thanks for looking!

18 Wheeler
Here is a cake that I made for my husband's work. He sells 18 wheelers for Freightliner. They were having a corporate competition at their office, so I thought this was a great time to make this cake. My brother actually custom made the cake pan for me - he's a sheet metal worker. The trailer is BC and the truck part is MMF. It's a little out of proportion, but I included as many details as possible. Also, the logo was a FBCT and as it thawed, the condensation caused the colors to run. :(

Birthday Bears
This is a cake done for a cute little girl at church. It is a half sheet cake with the bears made with the mini stand-up bear pan. This was my first time using Sharon's (Sugar Shack) BC recipe, and I was totally impressed with it. This cake got great reviews from the people at church.
